Books sees Tursunov as a favorite in this match. For those who have seen the SF matches is just a little bit strange this assumption. Only history statistics are in Tursunov’s advantage (in 2007 Tursunov was 11-6 and Becker was 14-15 on hard courts). After first match,  Japan was 1-0 vs. RomaniaVictor Hănescu loose first match at 0-3 (6-7 1-6 6-7)  vs. Takao Suzuki.  In the second match, Andrei Pavel took revenge against Go Soeda and won the match in 4 sets (6-3 6-7  7-5 6-3).  Right now Romania vs.  Japan is 1-1.

Let’s see which country will stay in Davis Cup.
